Map Layers

Choose which geographic features appear on the intelligence map — countries, regions, departments and individual communes — and their colors.

Geography layers: ON

When off, no country, region, department or commune selected below is shown on the map — your selections are remembered and will reappear when you turn this back on.

Default layer colors

Defaults applied to every layer. Individual countries, regions or departments can override these below.

Country border

Country fill

Country fill opacity Opacité du remplissage de la zone : 0 = transparent, 1 = totalement opaque.

Region border Région : plus grand échelon administratif français sous l'État (ex. Pays de la Loire).

Region fill

Region fill opacity Opacité du remplissage de la zone : 0 = transparent, 1 = totalement opaque.

Department border Département : échelon administratif intermédiaire (entre région et commune), identifié par un code (ex. 49).

Department fill

Department fill opacity Opacité du remplissage de la zone : 0 = transparent, 1 = totalement opaque.

Commune marker color Commune : plus petit échelon administratif français (ville ou village) ; affichée sous forme de point sur la carte.

Country boundaries loaded from data/france/pays/pays_*.geojson. Drop a GeoJSON file there and run python manage.py load_boundaries to add a new country.
